Lee Murphy

I have had no formal art training but have picked up some adult education courses following HHS in the USA and in Europe. In high school I should have been taking art but was in mechanical drawing (drafting) at the time. I now do drawing and painting as a hobby and work in oils, water colors, charcoal, pencil, and pen & ink. The works below are a combination of my own originals and a few things I have copied from other artisits or photos. I have also been published in a book authored by my cousin on the subject of tea. I am not sure where my interest in art will take me but for the last few years it has been an enjoyable hobby. The holiday images are from Christmas cards I have done over the last few years and probably the most difficult to draw is the human figure and portraits as there is zero tolerance for error.
